Avalanche Defeat Jets in Game Two, Tie Series 1-1
The Colorado Avalanche will host the Winnipeg Jets in Game Three of their Western Conference semifinal series on Tuesday, April 26, 2024. The Avs dropped the series opener 4-0 on the road but rebounded to win Game Two 3-0, tying the series at 1-1. Avalanche coach Jared Bednar said his team must maintain its composure and execution heading into Game Three.
"We're going to have to match their intensity and physicality," Bednar said. "They're a fast team, so we have to make sure we're moving our feet and keeping up with them. We also need to be disciplined and stay out of the penalty box."
The Avalanche have a 1-0 record at home so far in the playoffs, and they will look to build on that momentum in Game Three. The Jets, meanwhile, are 1-1 on the road in the postseason.
